The vision, challenge and the solution.

There are so many online learning options for education after high school. Sites like Udemy, Coursera, and many individual content creators make it possible to learn valuable skills for the world ahead.

The mission with the eDiploma was to take high school and make it fully remote. Getting to the solution took extensive research within the education market as well as researching and understanding the needs of parents and students.

In the end, it resulted in downloadable software students would use to learn and manage their education. Almost like their own high school portal.

The perfect place for answers… the internet.

To lay the groundwork for my product, I conducted thorough market research, exploring various resources like Google, Quora, e-learning websites, and high school websites.

I curated insights into an Affinity diagram, identifying patterns and nuances crucial for my project's trajectory. Each data point guided my understanding of the market and informed strategic pathways for introducing my product effectively.

Concerns About Public School.

There are so many opinions online and Quora is just one of the places I got to hear people's open voices about high school.

I found that there are plenty of other issues with high school. Kids bully, teachers have political agendas, learning types aren't considered, and there are countless other quotes not in this picture.

More then just software.

Convenience, ease of use, and mobile were the recipes for this software.

The first place my user starts is on the website and by downloading the software. I wanted the user to feel a premium experience with the product before they were even in it.

Creating the loading screen and app icon were two additions that made this app look so premium.

Crafting the software

Taking in consideration of my users needs I created a very simple dashboard that could be easily understood by anyone. After testing my prototype and making iterations I was able to come up with the final UI.

Process to success.

Looking at what competitors were doing inspired me throughout this project. Going to school, listening to a lecture, doing homework, and studying for tests aren't the only ways students are learning now.

My competitors inspired inspiration for e-learning to fully replace in-person high school education.

What I learned.

Don't underestimate your competition: Your competition can inspire innovation in a similar space.

Secondary research: Doing research online can be very beneficial. people post their opinions every day and take advantage of them.
